Documents en route | Coimbra – San Sebastián

Thirteen original works from the CD25A-UC collections began their journey today to San Sebastián (Spain), where they will be included in the exhibition ‘La ciudad en disputa | The city in dispute’ at the Euskadi Institute of Architecture.

This morning, at the Centre's premises, the careful process of technical packaging of the works took place — a rigorous and often discreet task, but essential to ensure the preservation, safety and integrity of this heritage.
The selected pieces — handmade posters used in demonstrations by the Local Ambulatory Support Service in Porto — were donated by Alexandre Alves Costa and Sérgio Fernandez, constituting material evidence of civic participation and intervention in urban space.
As part of the transfer process initiated in 2025 with K6 Gestión Cultural, this itinerancy reaffirms a relevant commitment of the Centre: to promote the responsible circulation of documentary heritage, broadening its cultural contexts of reading and dialogue, always with specialised technical support.
From Coimbra to San Sebastián, the documents continue their journey — carrying with them stories, voices and cities in dispute.
