At the invitation of ACM (Coimbra), as part of the cultural initiative entitled ‘Conferências do Ocaso’, the session on 26 May will be led by the Director of CD25A-UC, Cristina Vieira de Freitas, and will focus on the Centre’s mission to produce, throughout its nearly 42 years of activity, educational resources which it makes available to its user community. The resources will be described, highlighting their access and loan conditions, as well as their main features. Among the existing offering, particular attention will be given to the resources currently being finalised as part of the project entitled “The 25 April Revolution in 3D (Democratise, Decolonise, Develop)”, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
This project is aimed primarily at the teaching and learning communities in primary and secondary education and provides certified resources that are essential for the study of the April 1974 Revolution, with the aim of supporting the teaching and learning of these subjects in Portuguese schools.
